The European Union might “respond swiftly and decisively” against what it deems “unjustified” travel bans issued by the US against five European individuals working on combating online hate and misinformation, a European Commission spokesperson has said.
European Leaders Decry US Action as ‘Intimidation’
European leaders such as the French president charged Washington of “bullying and threats”, after the travel bans targeted individuals that were at the heart of campaigns to enact legislation regulating US-based technology firms.
