The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Party
Since the launch of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a gripping narrative including divine entities, demons, and sinister influences growing in influence within the urban setting.
Heads-up: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.
The Warrior Group Introduced
Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of characters who will separate from the central cast to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the additional parties.
This warrior group features the determined fighter (brought to life by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).
Why Split the Party?
Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the start that keeping everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.
Hence, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the characters’ stories before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.
The Nature of the Warrior Group
As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.
Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might seem out of place, but the developments of the latest installment show why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.
Reasons to Leave
First, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.
An old friend of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the story’s plot—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.
The traitor then paid off his debts and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.
Character Drivers
Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:
- Thimble, as the close ally and trusted friend, wants retribution.
- The knowledgeable figure has experience in the northern area and advises that it is a nasty place.
- The warrior and The healer, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
- But, their position as important members in the influential clan could enable the party access areas they normally couldn’t.
- Moreover, The fighter vowed a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that govern Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:
- The agile adventurer and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
- Tyranny and The healer defied House Halovar and the legion of demons they are allied with.
- The fighter is targeted for elimination by the clan.
This leaves them little choice but to head to the northern region in search of Casimir.
Upcoming Developments
From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group will not appear the following episode, leaving the rest of the cast members to round up the Questers and Schemers tables.
Viewers can look forward to discovering which players will be in which group in the story’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
